Too Much Production?, Could we overdue it?

So we all know PvP is coming out soon. With that, there have been many posts about rising food prices, rising armour prices, all due to the needs of Pkers. I, for one, believe that it will have a huge

impact. We could see Pkers going through several armour sets a day, consuming hundreds of lobsters, and so on.

But could we be to hyped up? What if in the days after Pking we all give up other skills and focus all on fishing, cooking, fletching, and smithing? I think with the right, or wrong conditions I should say,

we could flood the market with an unmatchable amount of goods that could ruin skills for some time to come, at least for profit.

Pking becomes a reality. So then we have 2000 players go and fish 500 lobsters each. Thats a million lobsters in one day! We could have the same amount of people buying only 300 or 400 lobs.

That stills leaves us with at least 200000 lobsters a day if that rate continues!

We could have fletchers fletching 1000 arrows a day. Say we have 3000 fletchers fletching adamant arrows. That would be 3000000 arrows a day! 3 million arrows!

With these scenarious, prices would plummet. Now dont say Jagex will go regulate the G.E. because look what is happening now.

Give me your thoughts. Any posts saying this could never happen without an explanation will be removed as spam.

A Growing Runescape, Is it neseccarily a good thing

In the last 7 years, Runescape has grown tremendously both as a game and as a community. We now have 24 skills, 142

quests, 34 minigames, and near 10 million actively playing the game. Of course, with every week that passes, we grow

even more. With every update comes a new minigame, quest, or an addition to a skill. Is this non-stopping growth for the

better? Or for the worst?

Although it is true that the bigger a game, the more the player has to do, and thus getting less bored, but wouldn’t it also

be hard to decide on what to do when there is just too much stuff to do? The present Runescape is packed with

minigames, skills, quests, achievement diaries, and boss monsters to kill. Now put yourself in the position of a new player

who just started playing the game. They would simply get too confused with everything that’s happening around them.

Heck, I’ve been playing for 4 years and some new updates still confuse me.

Now for the community. Is a large community like Runescape’s a very good thing? It defiantly promotes more competition

between players (which can be both a good thing and a bad thing). Yet it also can promote predators, pedophiles, and

just idiotic people to come to the game, bringing down the general game quality and experience for most players. It’s also

fun to be in a small community where you know most of it’s people, and everyone is friendly to each other, but that’s just

my opinion.

So what do you think? Is it a good thing that Runescape just keeps growing? Or would you prefer it to be the small

community that it was four, five years ago.

Many Player Moderators Not Suited For The Job in Runescape

Recently I have been seeing many Player Moderators in Runescape not acting as they are supposed to. Sometimes some new player asks a pmod a question (I know pmods aren’t obligated to answer every question) and the pmod either says “noob”, ignores the player, or responds using incorrect grammar (u instead of you and ect).

I have also been seeing way too many pmods using incorrect grammar, that (in my opinion) is a bad example of a pmod! Player Moderators are supposed to set a good example for the rest of the players. To me, it is pretty sad seeing a player moderator who can’t spell (I don’t mean one error in a whole sentence, the whole sentence being filled with grammar errors).

Sometimes while walking around I get asked some questions by Pmods (it doesn’t happen like everyday but sometimes it happens). The questions vary - they can be a very stupid question about RS or can be a question about RS1 (like “Were Partyhats tradeable at first?”). Player Moderators are supposed to know almost everything (not to the last detail but very well general. Also don’t take the Partyhat as an example. I know RS1 was very long ago and not many people from RS1 still play).

Also, I have seen some Pmods being pretty offensive to others (I know they’re humans and have their limits but if they were smart enough to get Player Moderator status, they should be smart enough to [1] mute the player if he/she is being too offensive or [2] ignore the player and go on). I have witness pmods calling people (mostly newbies) things like “loser”, “idiot”, “imbecile”, “noob” and many more names.

The great majority of the Pmods I’m describing were players who, almost, the only thing they did was report players for the simplest (and lamest) reasons (or for autoing ). Jagex gave them Pmod status assuming they were fit but as we might be seeing.. they are not.

This is one example of not-well-suited pmod

I’m NOT saying all Pmods are like this. There are Pmods who are very well suited for the status they hold.

So whats your opinion on this issue?

A newbie’s Runescape life

I am a newbie for the mmo game Runescape. But I like it so much.
My combat lvl is just 21. I had played the game for 3 days.
I am 35 years old. My son always plays this game and he told me it is very cool. So I join it.
At first, I finished the newbie quest. Then I was moved to Lumbridge when I was lvl 3. I began to practise my life skill and combat lvl.
I attack some goblins. First I don’t know the differences of chop, slash, lunge and block. I just used Slash and my strength XP grew very fast. But the attack and defence didn’t get any xp. Then my son told me I need use other actions to get the other xps. Well, lots of goblins were killed at my sword. That’s a cool feeling.
I also do some life skill. Like Fishing, Cooking, Firemaking and WoodCutting. Well, It is really a new world for me. I will go to varrock and play there.
Runescape is really a great life for us.I like it. And I think I will continue to play with my son.
Here is some introduction of Runescape.
Runescape2 or RS2 is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that was developed by Jagex, a United Kingdom company, in 2001. RS has both free-to-play (F2P) and pay-to-pay (P2P) accounts. With over a million P2P accounts and over 9 millions F2P accounts, RS is considered to be one of the most popular online games in the world. In December 2003 Runescape was also named as one of the fastest growing MMORP game.

How to get a good life in runescape (Part 1)

How to get a good life in runescape (Part 1)
We all like runescape
. It is a great online internet game.
Runescape is very different than real life (obviously).
Do a Runesacpe player, after we finish the new player quest. We will go to mainland. There are lumbridge and vorrock village. We need start a new life which is very different from real life. How to get a good life in runescape is a very important thing for us.
At first, you need make friend. But in runescape, you will find that whatever you say will not be taken seriously at first. If you ask someone to be your runescape friend, they might assume you’re a moocher and only talking because you’re after their runescape items.
runescape gold
and good items are very important to players. So they can’t trust a newbie when you want to make friend or trade them.
But having a network of friends in runescape is part of the game. One of the best ways to make a good, lasting runescape friend in runescape is PKing. If you like to PK then find someone in runescape around your level. Ask them to team up (make sure they don’t backstab you!) and after you get your first kill together you’ll have a Runescape friend for life in runescape.
Another thing: if you’re trading something to a
runescape player and it’s a fair price (it should be), then don’t hesitate to chat about stuff outside of the trade about runescape. Sometimes you might find that you’ll make a good runescape friend .Well, maybe he is just a kid of 10 years old.
At last, Pleasure make sure, however, that you don’t expect redundant anything from them. Sure, all Rune Scape friends do favors for each other. But the most common mistake that screws up Runescape friendships is one person always demanding lots of things from the other just because he’s a friend in Runescape.

Next we will show the part II of Runescape. I think the topic is how to get lots of RuneScape Gold in the game.
